About The Vamp

The Sound:

The Vamp are a four to six-plus-piece playing an explosive mixture of all things Eastern – melodies from the wild steppes of Eastern Europe, rhythms from the sandy deserts of Eastern Arabia and harmonies inspired by the trade winds blowing down to East Africa.



Personnel:

A collective of highly talented multi-instrumentalists, song writers and vocalists, the Vamp feature Simone on two North African drums called darbukas, Raf on bass, Adrian on the accordion, Tim on trombone, and Pav and Badge on all things string-related, including the violin and the tzouras.
